Oprah meditates! She joined in group meditation in the Golden Dome in Fairfield today, according to Yahoo’s Associated Content site. Boy I’d love to have seen those dear ladies’ faces as Oprah walked in.
Our South African friend in Fairfield reports: “This little town was buzzing! As Mel said to me last night before we went to bed…..”Imagine, I meditated in the Dome last night, and Oprah was there too!”
It was a cold, blustery day, the autumn leaves are practically over, but there was such a happy, vibrant , expectant, golden, warm atmosphere bubbling amongst the community. I think it made most people feel proud and justified in their choice to be here living this pretty amazing life in a small Iowa farming plekkie!”
And it is a wonderful thing when big media is able to post 100% positive comment about Transcendental Meditation, its joys, benefits and celebrity adherents.
Who are they, apart from Oprah? Moby, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, Steve Collins, Mike Love, Stevie Wonder, Donovan, winning filmmakers David Lynch, Clint Eastwood, and Martin Scorsese, as well as performing artists Jerry Seinfeld, Russell Brand, Katy Perry, Laura Dern, Ben Harper, Sheryl Crowe, … the list is endless.
TM absolutely deserves to be more widely appreciated, and Rik Merchant rightly writes that Oprah represents a gigantic endorsement. Who benefits? Absolutely everyone. There is plenty of evidence that more meditators means more peace and less violence – which, after all, we know starts in the hearts of man. Well done Rik. Congratulations Oprah!!
This is really big news.
We have waited my entire working life for the time when Transcendental Meditation becomes mainstream. Now is that time. It is just that finally, with the power of instant mass communication, ordinary people like us can access the stories of the celebrities and the painstaking and enormous research background that supports their endorsements.
Why would you not do TM? It delivers what absolutely everyone wants – peace of mind, relaxation, better health, more happiness. Everyone wants these things. And of course these things are so natural that many fortunates have them already. To those I say “show others how you got your peace.” Because all rivers lead to the same ocean.
And to those who are less than happy – what are you waiting for? Get out of your misery! Because if you not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Your misery is mine. Please, help yourself to a better life.
