Maharishi Vastu is a system of architecture that you have got to discover.

Architect Christian Schweitzer was at the Houghton TM Centre last night, speaking on the idea of auspicious slope and sunrise delay.

“Because the individual is Cosmic, everything about individual life should be in full harmony with Cosmic Life. Maharishi Sthapatya Veda gives dimensions, formulas, and orientations to the buildings that will provide Cosmic Harmony and Support to the individual for his peace, prosperity, and good health—daily life in accord with Natural Law, daily life in the evolutionary direction.” Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

So what is “Sthapatyaveda” and what is “vastu?” And how do I make a fortune creating home?

Let’s begin at the beginning. The ancients knew that the orientation of a building and many other factors bear on the experience of living in the building. So do the white ants and indigenous people that build their anthills and huts with specific orientations in certain parts of Africa.

You’ve heard of Feng Shui? Well, Vedic Architecture is a system that apparently is a forerunner of the Feng Shui system. And both systems believe that the physical structure can affect the fortune of the indweller. Maharishi holds that a structure built according to the principles of Maharishi Vastu -Vedic Architecture – Sthapatyaveda – makes a connection between the in dweller and the cosmos itself. Now this may sound far-fetched but the experience of thousands of people, including ourselves is that when you do it right you have good fortune.

The factors include having east-facing entrances, a downward slope to the north or east, being far away from stress concentrations like hospitals or power lines, having no high ground to the east, and many other significant details that conspire to provide an absolutely outstanding and amazing experience.

For example, people walking into the Houghton TM Centre never fail to comment on the peaceful atmosphere inside the house and on the property. And it’s partly because the house complies with the principles of Maharishi Vastu. It is tangible.  It is real. And there IS research – and even South African research in progress – that finds a correlation between east entrances and lower burglary rates.

So here is Your 6 Steps to Perfect Vastu. How to do it. What to look for in a home to buy, a rental property or even a hotel room that complies with some of the main considerations of Maharishi Vastu.

Here are some pics that you can view while you listen to my podcast:

East or north entrances are auspicious.

And here is where to place your rooms:

Of course there is much, much more to it than space allows here. For more information contact:
